Whether you are chronicling a bold adventure, or quietly sketching at home, our Boston Map Journal will remind you of a city you love.  We hand select each hide from Seidel Tannery, etch the leather with an 1880 map of Boston, Massachusetts, stitch and finish it in our studio.

This journal is made of full-grain leather and closes securely with a solid brass Sam Browne closure.  It includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. It’s a long-lasting gift for the artist, writer, or adventurer in your life.

Detailed, beautiful and made with care

We love this journal. The detail and care with which it was made is clear. And I didn't realize it was reusable, can slide off the journal it comes with and place on a new one!

Gorgeous detailing

This is such quality craftsmanship. The journal’s leather is think and beautiful, and the component to secure the clasp feels like it will last forever. And customer support is so friendly. I’d definitely buy from this company again.

Beautiful attention to detail

Grew up in Los Angeles, as did my father who was born there in 1943 so I had to get an item with the 1941 map. Nowadays, a lot of mass produced items cost about as much as this with far inferior quality. The stitching, and even how the pattern continues where the pen holder loops around is really impressive. People shouldn't hesitate to support this business. Thank you.

Best Custom Order

I requested an A5 size Big Sur journal without a pen loop. What I got was a work of art. I could not be happier.
