Whether you are chronicling a bold adventure, or quietly sketching at home, this Journal will remind you of a city you love.  Made with custom leather from Seidel Tannery, we etch the leather with a 1945 map of the Twin Cities, Minnesota, stitch and finish it in our studio.

This journal is made of full grain leather, and closes securely with a solid brass Sam Browne closure.  It includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. It’s a long-lasting gift for the artist, writer, or adventurer in your life.

When Plans Turn to Dreams!

Last summer I was planning a trip to France. Lots of museums and visiting my sister in the South of France. So where so your plans go when they become dreams? In your Tactile Craftworks journal that's where. I bought the journal with the map of Paris etched on the cover. I write down info about museums and high-speed trains, food I want to try and places my sister wants to take me. My journal is perfect with its creamy pages and beautiful cover! It gets better as time goes on. Even if I cannot get to France this year, I have a wonderful dream book to cherish!

Fantastic

I stumbled across this company on a youtube video about making cocktails for flasks. I ordered a flask first and I loved it so much that I ordered a journal as well. I am an artist and a sketchbook junkie so I asked the owners if they could swap out the lined journal for an art journal. They said no problem. I just received my Tokyo Journal. I love it. The detail, the design, everything. I can tell the design was well thought out and that it will last a long time.

Unique College Graduation Gift

We gave the Washington, DC journal to our son who just graduated from James Madison University. We loved the leather aroma and the beautifully crafted journal. I want one for myself!
