We hand select each hide from Seidel Tannery, etch the leather with a 1948 map of Glacier National Park in Montana and Waterton Lakes Park in Alberta, stitch and finish it in our studio.

This journal is made of full-grain leather and closes securely with a solid brass Sam Browne closure. It includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. It’s a long-lasting gift for the artist, writer, or adventurer in your life.

Amazing quality. A work of art.

I was gifted a Tactile Craftsworks journal with a Yosemite National Park cover - my home for over 40 years. I've seen a lot of Yosemite items, but this is by far my favorite. Too beautiful to put away, so it lives on a shelf where I can see it when I'm not writing in it. I really appreciate that the notebook can be replaced.

So when a dear friend who loves Glacier National Park had a birthday, my first thought was to get her the GNP version. She LOVED it for all the same reasons I did. I'm sure I will gift others as well!
