Tactile Craftworks is proud to support the National Park Foundation, the official charity of the National Park System.

Our Park Journal pays tribute to one of our favorite things in this world, the National Parks. Whether you are chronicling a bold adventure, or quietly sketching at home, this journal will remind you of the nature you love.  We hand select each full-grain hide from Seidel Tannery, etch the leather with a pine silhouette taken from a mid-century travel brochure of Mt. Hood National Forest, stitch and finish it in our studio.

These journals also feature a raw edge cut straight from the hide, making each journal completely one-of-a-kind. It includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. It’s the perfect long-lasting gift for the artist, writer, or traveler in your life.

*As we make each item by hand with natural materials, there may be variations in your journal from the product that is pictured. Unless otherwise specified, all items are made to order. Please allow 1-2 weeks for shipping.*

Grand Teton National Park Journal

Gorgeous journal! I bought it as a gift and thought it was even lovelier in person than in the photographs. Was a pleasure to do business with Tactile Craftworks!

Absolutely Beautiful

I found this Grand Tetons Journal while Christmas shopping and I decided I had to have it for myself. The leather, the clasp, and the map are all absolutely beautiful and it is an ode . The attention to detail is unmatched. This journal is something that I plan to use for years.

A Gift for the Ages

Dads the hardest to shop for. Or at least the one I have is and I've heard the common wisdom that middle-aged men are a pain in the ass to buy for. Something to look forward to, I guess. My millennial ass has no problem finding random trinkets and geegaws to fuel my contributions to capitalism.

I digress. Pops and I ventured to many National Parks in my youth. We hit the Tetons when I was 12 and it's one of my fondest childhood memories. Combine that with the fact that the codger fancies himself a writer in his old age and this seemed like a great gift. And it was. Old sumbitch even shed a tear or two. Getting soft in his old age. An absolutely incredible keepsake made with obvious care that I know he'll cherish for years to come. Might have to get one myself.
