Whether you are chronicling a bold adventure, or quietly sketching at home, this journal will remind you of a city you love.  We hand select each hide from Seidel Tannery, etch the leather with a 1876 map of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, stitch and finish it in our studio.

This journal is made of full-grain leather and closes securely with a solid brass Sam Browne closure.  It includes a lined Moleskine notebook which can be replaced again and again. It’s a long-lasting gift for the artist, writer, or adventurer in your life.

Best Custom Order

I requested an A5 size Big Sur journal without a pen loop. What I got was a work of art. I could not be happier.

Beautiful and distinctive

Love my Pittsburgh journal. Leather is gorgeous and weathered just right. If I had one suggestion it’d be to make the pencil loop more stretchy for those of us who prefer gel pens.

Excellent Quality and Cool Look

I recently purchased a Honolulu Map Journal (having recently visited there, and because both the map and geometric leather cut were ideal), and it is great. Fascinating to look at, sturdy, and stylish. I previously purchased a Cleveland, Ohio map passport holder, so I knew the journal would be top quality. I highly recommend. The products are based on a cool concept, of tooled antique maps, and the “execution” of the idea on high quality leather products is a winner.
